Compared to three years ago (my last visit to the Big Apple), the dollar is a bit 'stronger but purchases of clothing you still do well. Of course, as I said on FF, real outlets are out of the Big Apple scattered 'throughout America, and especially for those who want to take a vacation extra brasilia in New York alone, the most interesting are in New Jersey and Connecticut, states bordering New York.
There are several sites that mention them, but if you are looking for famous brands here too such as Ralph Lauren, Timberland, Calvin Klein, Fossil, etc., A good guide can be one of the Premium Outlet: http://www.premiumoutlets.com extra brasilia /centers/index.asp
I am focused on just one because I plan to fill the suitcase on the last day and, through Connecticut to New York, I chose to Clinton http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/store_listing .asp? id = 12. And 'structured much like those that are emerging in Italy a little' everywhere, so ... .cittadella purchases. Just to understand I bought Ralph Lauren pants at $ 9 (about 7 euros), Fossil watch for $ 30 (about 25 euros), and so on.
That said, for those who will not move from the Big Apple and has a few days left, I suggest an alternative, the Century21 extra brasilia which is located at Ground Zero: http://www.c21stores.com/manhattan/ or that of Queens that is larger, well-structured: http://www.c21stores.com/rego-park/.
